US Radio and Television model Apex 37
I found this at a Salvation Army store along with the unusual Magnavox cone speaker back in 1974. It was my first radio with an external speaker, and I remember being pretty excited about it at the time. Today, late-1920's radios in metal cabinets are not very popular with the collectors, but this one is still a favorite of mine.

USL Battery Radio
A unique radio in a USL battery case. The top of the battery lifts off to access an International Kadette chassis (similar to Kadette model K-150). I've seen 3 of these over the years, so it is not homemade and was probably a promotional item for USL battery dealers.
