Western Air Patrol Model 557
Made by Western Air Patrol and sold through Western Auto stores, this fairly plain looking radio has a wood cabinet with white celluloid veneer. This same chassis was also sold in a plain wood cabinet and in a beetle plastic cabinet. This celluloid example has the correct beetle plastic knobs which were also used on the beetle plastic version of the radio.
