Northland cathedral radio.
This unique radio was made in Minneapolis in 1931 by the Northland Radio Company. The Solar clock can be removed from the front of the cabinet to set the time or spin the starter wheel. The back of the clock has a decal saying it was made by The Aerial Insulator Company of Green Bay Wisconsin, and it has an antenna connector! The radio uses a Magnavox electrodynamic speaker, but this one needs a new cone surround.
Back View.
This was one of Northland's last radios, after many years in business manufacturing mostly battery radios.
